Meet Dr. Keith F. Murray, Chiropractor in Gaithersburg, MD

Dr. Keith F. Murray is the founder of Bones 4 Life Chiropractic in Gaithersburg, Maryland. With more than 24 years of clinical experience and thousands of patients treated, he provides hands-on, individualized chiropractic care for people dealing with pain, stiffness, injuries, and movement limitations.

Dr. Murray understands that pain can affect more than one part of your body. It can make work harder, interrupt sleep, limit exercise, affect family time, and keep you from doing the activities you enjoy. His goal is to help you understand what may be contributing to the problem, improve how your body moves, and create a clear plan for moving forward.

Experienced, Hands-On Care Focused on Helping You Move Better

“I have treated patients of all ages and backgrounds. That breadth of experience has taught me that every patient deserves to be listened to, evaluated carefully, and treated as an individual.”

— Dr. Keith Murray

A PATIENT-CENTERED CONSULTATION

A Chiropractor Who Takes the Time to Listen

At Bones 4 Life Chiropractic, Dr. Murray does not believe in rushed, one-size-fits-all care. Your visit begins with a conversation about what you are experiencing, what activities have become difficult, and what you want to get back to doing.

Whether you are managing back pain, neck stiffness, a work-related issue, a sports or gym injury, posture-related discomfort, or a movement limitation that has gradually gotten worse, Dr. Murray takes time to evaluate your needs and explain his recommendations in plain language.

Care may include chiropractic adjustments, hands-on soft-tissue techniques, mobility-focused treatment, and practical recommendations that support recovery between visits. Your plan is adjusted based on your examination findings, goals, comfort level, and response to care.

LEADERSHIP & COLLABORATIVE BACKGROUND

More Than Two Decades of Clinical and Healthcare Leadership

Before founding Bones 4 Life Chiropractic in Gaithersburg, Dr. Murray spent more than two decades practicing and leading within multidisciplinary healthcare settings in New Jersey and New York City.

His background includes serving in clinic leadership and operations roles while working alongside medical doctors, physical therapists, acupuncturists, massage therapists, and nutrition professionals. That experience taught him the value of thoughtful communication, coordinated care, and recognizing when a patient may benefit from another healthcare professional or an additional type of support.

Today, he brings that broad clinical perspective to each patient at Bones 4 Life Chiropractic. The goal is always the same: provide care that is appropriate, understandable, and focused on helping patients improve function and return to their daily lives.

CLINICAL PROBLEM-SOLVING PHILOSOPHY

A Practical Approach to Pain and Movement

Dr. Murray’s interest in problem-solving began long before chiropractic school. Growing up in South Jersey, he enjoyed taking apart and repairing bicycles and electronics. He later worked in auto mechanics while completing his education.

That early hands-on experience shaped the way he approaches patient care today. He looks carefully at how the body moves as a connected system—not just at the place where pain is felt.

For patients, that means the care process may include looking at joint movement, muscle tension, previous injuries, posture, work demands, exercise habits, and daily routines. The purpose is not to promise an “exact” cause for every complaint. It is to identify meaningful contributing factors and build a practical care plan around the individual.

WORKPLACE ERGONOMICS & COMMUTER HEALTH

Ergonomics and Workplace Health

Many people spend long hours sitting, driving, standing, lifting, looking down at screens, or working in positions that place repeated stress on the body. Dr. Murray is certified as an Ergonomics Assessment Specialist, CEAS I–III, and uses that training to help patients understand how daily habits and work environments may affect comfort and movement.

Ergonomic guidance may address:

  • Desk, chair, monitor, and keyboard setup

  • Driving posture and long-commute discomfort

  • Repetitive lifting, bending, standing, or reaching at work

  • Home-office setup and screen-related neck or back strain

  • Movement breaks and practical changes that support recovery

This is especially relevant for people in Gaithersburg, Rockville, North Potomac, Germantown, Montgomery Village, Derwood, and surrounding Montgomery County communities who work at desks, commute, work remotely, or have physically demanding jobs.
