Doctor Stretching a Patient Neck

At Bones 4 Life Chiropractic, we believe long-term healing and optimal performance require a multifaceted, evidence-informed approach. True recovery extends beyond temporary symptom relief—it demands restoring proper biomechanics, reducing neurological interference, and rebuilding functional stability.

By integrating traditional chiropractic care with advanced mechanical traction, soft tissue therapies, and targeted rehabilitation, we deliver precise, personalized care tailored to your unique structural needs.

Adjusting Techniques

Precision and patient comfort are at the core of spinal health. We utilize diverse, evidence-based adjusting techniques selected specifically for your condition, age, and personal preferences:

  • Manual Adjustments: Traditional hands-on spinal manipulation focused on restoring joint segment mobility, improving range of motion, and decreasing nerve root irritation throughout the axial skeleton.

  • Instrument-Assisted Adjustments: High-precision, gentle spinal corrections using low-force clinical instruments. This objective approach is ideal for patients who prefer non-manual adjustments or require lightweight force.

  • Drop-Table Adjustments: Utilizing terminal-point drop sections within specialized adjusting tables to maximize joint mobilization while minimizing force and rotational tension.

  • Extremity Adjustments: Complete functional movement relies on more than just the spine. We provide targeted manipulation for the shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, and ankles to optimize your entire kinetic chain.

Targeted Soft Tissue & Myofascial Therapies

Spinal alignment and soft tissue function are interlinked. Restrictive scar tissue, chronic muscle tension, and fascia tight spots can pull the spine out of alignment and prolong recovery. We combine specialized soft tissue modalities to accelerate healing, increase circulation, and eliminate painful adhesions.

Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM)

Using medical-grade ergonomic tools, IASTM enables precise detection and treatment of deep myofascial restrictions and micro-scarring.

  • How It Works: By applying targeted micro-trauma to chronic or acute soft tissue injuries, IASTM re-initiates the natural inflammatory cascade—stimulating localized collagen remodeling, breaking down fibrotic adhesions, and restoring healthy tissue elasticity.

  • Clinical Benefits:

  • Accelerated recovery times for acute soft tissue strains and chronic overuse injuries.

  • Restored joint mobility and reduced stiffness in bound fascia.

  • Targeted relief for persistent conditions such as Plantar Fasciitis, Lateral/Medial Epicondylitis (Tennis/Golfer’s Elbow), and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

Why Choose IASTM? Whether you are an athlete recovering from an injury or someone dealing with repetitive strain from office work, IASTM helps "restart" the healing process. By introducing controlled micro-trauma to affected tissues, we stimulate the body’s natural ability to remodel and repair fibers. Benefits of IASTM: Faster Recovery Times: Ideal for acute and chronic sports injuries. Increased Range of Motion: Breaks down adhesions that limit movement. Reduced Pain: Effectively treats Plantar Fasciitis, Tennis Elbow (Epicondylitis), and Carpal Tunnel.

Therapeutic Myofascial Cupping

A modernized decompression therapy designed to lift tight tissue layers, enhance microcirculation, and flush accumulated metabolic waste.

  • The Science of Decompression: Unlike traditional compression massage that pushes down on muscle tissue, cupping creates negative pressure (suction) to pull the skin and superficial fascia away from the underlying muscle. This expansion creates space for blood flow, loosens deep trigger points, and signals the nervous system to relax.

What to Expect:

  • Enhanced Nutrient Delivery: Rapidly draws fresh, oxygenated blood into ischemic or fatigued muscle beds.

  • Deep Myofascial Release: Relieves stubborn hypertonic "knots" and chronic muscular tightness without invasive force.

  • Lymphatic Drainage: Facilitates the clearing of cellular debris and inflammatory byproducts from overworked tissues.

  • Clinical Note: Temporary, circular discoloration ("cupping marks") is a normal physiological response indicating increased local vascularity, typically fading within 3 to 7 days.

Cupping: The Science of Suction: The vacuum created by the cups draws fresh, oxygenated blood to the area while lifting the fascia (the connective tissue surrounding muscles). This process helps flush out metabolic waste and triggers a profound relaxation response in the nervous system. What to Expect: Improved Blood Flow: Enhances the delivery of nutrients to tired muscles. Deep Myofascial Release: Loosens stubborn "knots" and trigger points. Reduced Inflammation: Helps clear the pathways for lymphatic drainage. Note: It is normal to see circular "hickey-like" marks after a session—this is a sign of increased blood flow and typically fades within a few days.

Precautions & Safety: Possible side effects include temporary tenderness, skin discoloration, irritation, burns, or—in uncommon cases—infection. Cupping may not be appropriate over broken or irritated skin or for every health condition; we review relevant precautions before treatment.

Functional Rehabilitation & Mechanical Decompression

To achieve lasting relief, passive care must transition into active stabilization. We equip you with the clinical protocols necessary to protect your spine, correct faulty movement patterns, and prevent re-injury.

Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression

An advanced, non-invasive mechanical traction protocol engineered to alleviate nerve compression and promote structural disc repair.

  • How Spinal Decompression Works: By applying computer-calculated logarithmic cycles of distraction and relaxation, spinal decompression targets specific spinal segments while bypassing the body’s natural muscle-guarding response. This creates negative intradiscal pressure (a vacuum effect within the spinal disc), encouraging bulging or herniated disc material to retract away from nerve roots while drawing in vital water, oxygen, and nutrients necessary for disc hydration and repair.

Primary Indications:

  • Sciatica & Lumbar Radiculopathy (Radiating Leg Pain or Numbness)

  • Herniated, Bulging, or Extruded Discs

  • Degenerative Disc Disease (DDD)

  • Spinal Stenosis

  • Posterior Facet Syndrome

Decompression Table

How Spinal Decompression Works: By gently stretching the spine, we create a "vacuum effect" (negative intradistal pressure) within the spinal discs. This allows herniated or bulging disc material to retract, taking pressure off the nerves and allowing nutrient-rich fluids to flow back into the disc. Conditions We Treat: Sciatica & Radiating Nerve Pain Herniated or Bulging Discs Degenerative Disc Disease Spinal Stenosis Posterior Facet Syndrome

Active Physical Rehabilitation & Functional Movement

Corrective care is incomplete without rebuilding functional strength. We design individualized corrective exercise protocols—focusing on core stabilization, postural retraining, and neuromuscular control—to ensure your joints remain supported long after you leave the clinic.
